A wet and windy day selling donated items to raise funds for our cause. Everything donated goes towards the cost of fighting Peel Holdings, and we thank everyone who contributed. Well done Maria and Andrew for giving up your time at the venue.

Congratulations to our Raffle winner Diane Foy who took possession of the Hamper recently. She was thrilled to bits to receive it as the photograph shows.

This event was a huge success a raised much needed funds to support our fight against Peel Holdings and their plans to build on our beautiful green spaces. Local councillors who unanimously rejected the plan in council recently also attended to show their support.

SRA held a successful fundraising event on a lovely hot day, which proved to be very popular with the locals of Horwich. Everyone expressed their support and we were rewarded by donations to the cause.....followed by an England win in the world cup.

After a unanimous vote by all councillors they voted to reject the application by Peel Holdings to build 300 houses on Horwich Golf club and adjacent land 

We are receiving donations from our members and further afield - the chair, Malcolm Harrison is most grateful on behalf of the Assocation for these donations to support our efforts to keep people informed
